Operating across sectors including pharmaceutical, healthcare, manufacturing and food, the business delivers purely commercial projects of significant scale and complexity.

They have built a strong reputation for quality and consistency, with a clear focus on delivering high standards across everything they do. As a result, they are looking to bring in individuals who take pride in their work and want to be part of a business that genuinely values quality over shortcuts.

You will be working across multiple projects, providing a full range of building surveying services including inspections, surveys, schedules of work and contract administration. You will also be involved in managing projects from early stages through to completion, ensuring quality, compliance and programme are maintained throughout.

The role will also see you supporting senior managers in their day-to-day activities, while taking responsibility for mentoring and developing junior members of the team.

The Requirements

You should hold a BSc (Hons) in Building Surveying or a similar RICS-accredited qualification, with a solid level of practical building surveying experience.

You will need to be confident working across a range of project types, managing client relationships and handling both technical and commercial aspects of delivery. A strong understanding of contract forms such as JCT and NEC is expected, alongside experience producing technical documentation including specifications, feasibility studies and reports.

A good understanding of Health & Safety and statutory compliance is essential, along with strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects effectively.

Equally important is attitude - the client is looking for someone who is proactive, collaborative and keen to continue developing their career within a supportive team environment.

The Package

The salary on offer is up to £60,000, depending on experience.

In addition, the client offers a comprehensive benefits package, including:

  • Hybrid and flexible working

  • The ability to tailor benefits to suit your lifestyle

  • Strong training and development opportunities

  • A clear pathway for career progression

  • A collaborative and supportive working environment
