The client
Our client is a leading M&E Multi-disciplinary design consultancy, with offices across the UK and globally. Specialising in highly classified military and government projects, they've amassed a reputation for quality and a forward-thinking approach to sustainability and energy conservation.
The role
Due to a period of successful project wins, with an order book well into 2025 they are now looking to bolster their MEP design team in Birmingham, with the addition of a Senior/Principal Electrical Design Engineer. This company prides itself on an open-door policy to progression, where if you want to work on it or expose yourself to it, there are no limits. The leadership team is on hand, approachable and knowledgeable to help you achieve and progress.
The requirements
Ideally, you will have experience working within a similar consultancy setting and have experience working on MOD/Government schemes. If not, a background in Healthcare would be close second. You will be working to or already obtained Chartership status, have a strong degree in Electrical Engineering or similar and be comfortable/have some experience in taking a lead on projects and liaising with clients. You will be a team player, happy to work independently when required and want to be part of a growing, friendly team of like-minded engineers.
The package
You can expect to earn anywhere between £50,000 - £58,000 (but negotiable for the right person). You'll benefit from Hybrid working, with private medical, one professional subscription paid and the opportunity to quickly develop your experience, leading to promotion.
