The company Multi-disciplinary practice in Milton Keynes is seeking an experienced Civil Drainage Design Engineer to join their team.
As a Civil Drainage Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, analysing, and overseeing drainage systems for a wide range of civil engineering projects. Your expertise will be vital in ensuring the effective management of stormwater, wastewater, and drainage systems, contributing to the safety and resilience of communities and the protection of the environment.
Our client offers a flexible working environment where you will have the autonomy to manage your own workload and work independently or collaboratively with a team. You will also have the opportunity to mentor more junior engineers and establish best practices to ensure excellence across the board.
The requirements
Proficiency in relevant software and tools, such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, HEC-RAS, and Stormwater Management Software.
Strong understanding of hydraulic and hydrologic principles.
Knowledge of local and national drainage and environmental regulations.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Project management experience is a plus.
Commitment to safety, sustainability, and quality in engineering design.

The package
Salary up to £55,000 depending on experience, generous holiday entitlement of 29 days plus banks. Further training and development is provided as well as an opportunity to progress quickly.
