The client

Our client is a well-established and respected mechanical and electrical building services Design and Build contractor, operating from their modern offices just outside Bristol. The role

This position offers genuine variety, autonomy, and progression within a business that values technical competence and professional integrity over red tape and firefighting.

Here’s what you’ll need to succeed

  • Proven experience in a Mechanical Contracts Manager or Senior Project Manager role within the building services industry.

  • Background delivering projects across commercial, industrial, logistics, or agricultural sectors.

  • Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously, typically valued between £2.5m–£3m.

  • Excellent commercial understanding - confident managing costs, procurement, and client expectations.

  • A collaborative leadership style, able to motivate engineers, supervisors, and subcontractors effectively.

  • Strong focus on health and safety compliance and high-quality workmanship.

  • Ideally Bristol or South West based, with a full UK driving licence.

  • Salary: £65,000 – £75,000 (DOE)

  • Car allowance or company vehicle

  • Performance-related bonus

  • Private healthcare and wellbeing support

  • Hybrid working options

  • Company mobile and laptop

  • Generous holiday entitlement

  • Pension scheme and genuine career development & progression opportunities
